Ingredients for 4 servings:

Olive oil 0,3 glass
Oranges 2 pcs.
Wheat flour 2 glasses
Baking powder 1,5 teaspoon
Salt 1 pinch
Baking soda 2 teaspoons
Sugar 1,5 glass
Chicken egg 4 pcs.
Powdered sugar to taste

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Lightly oil a round shape (about 23 cm in diameter).
  2. With a sharp knife, cut off the upper and lower parts of the oranges and cut the oranges into small pieces. Transfer to a blender and grind almost to a puree state, but so that a slightly uneven texture remains. Add the olive oil and whisk again.
  3. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  4. In another bowl, beat the eggs well and gradually add sugar. Then mix the orange mass and flour in parts. Do not beat for too long, otherwise the cake will turn out very dense.
  5. Transfer the dough to a baking dish and bake for 50-60 minutes until tender. Cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar, cut into segments and serve.
